White Horses Lesson #2

Lesson #2

It is so fun to see these little ones start to participate! Remember, don't force participation. Your child will participate when he/she feels comfortable. He/she is learning just by listening and watching.

Also, the more you play the CD at home, the quicker your child will feel comfortable in class--they will recognize the songs and feel so smart!

optional home fun activity ***remember, these activities are optional but can be a great bonding experience to do with your child during the week.

Lesson 2:

Color the bells on page 9 of your workbook

more than play

Tracking is an important literacy skill where the eyes move smoothly from left to right and send input to the brain on each symbol.  When we point, this guides the eyes and supports the brain’s ability to collect the information.

We include many opportunities to practice  tracking in The Counting Song, The Letter of the Day and Hey Diddle, Diddle!  Model and enjoy this valuable skill at home as you sing and play with the Student Workbook.
